Bonke returns from injuries sustained during World Cup playoffs – Latest sports news in Nigeria

Super Eagles midfielder Innocent Bonke returned to action after three weeks on the sidelines.

Bonke injured a member last month during Nigeria’s national team qualifiers in the FIFA World Cup against Ghana in Kumasi.

He missed the second part of the match in Abuja and has been out of the game ever since.

However, Bonke returned with his team Ligue 1 FC Lorient on Sunday against Nice.

The match started, but was replaced in the second half.

In the meantime, his compatriot Terem Moffi also joined the game, but he could not find the back of the net.

Nice won the match 2: 1, not thanks to the orthosis from Andy Delort.

Armad Lauriente scored Lorient’s only goal in the match.
