Fortnite developer Epic Games is set to launch its end-of-season event for Chapter 3, Season 2. The release date for the Collision end-of-season event is June 4, and the start time is 21:00 BST for fans living in the UK (US players have 4pm ET). Like other end-of-season events, this is a one-off arrangement, which means you will need to adjust in advance to secure a place. The Collision playlist will be available 30 minutes before the event (20:30 BST) and the servers are likely to be very busy. In fact, to make sure you’re not thrown out of the event, you can turn on around 8pm BST.

According to a recent post on the Epic blog – not to mention various social networking announcements – the event will be attended by big masters who will fight it.

Epic Games further explains: “Everyone will have to be on deck at this event, so get together in four groups and join the start.

“The COLLISION playlist will be available at Fortnite 30 minutes before the start of the game for players to dress up. Players who do not have a full team will see that their party will be filled with others who will help them during the FACE.

“Content creators and players who want to relive their bold moves and heroic experiences should take action to record and archive the event, as its repetitions will not be available.

As a bonus, anyone who joins from June 4th. 1 p.m. BST will receive a collision loading screen and a lobby track. You can also buy Mecha Weapons clothing at the convenience store.

The game is expected to go offline on the server after the event, as Epic prepares to introduce the new season and Battle Pass.

As for Battle Pass, fans are encouraged to complete all of Season 2’s exclusive tasks just hours before the big event.

This includes special tasks for Season 2 Prowler skin. You’ll also want to collect all the remaining Omni tokens to unlock the Omni Sword Pickaxe.

“Please note that all unused Battle Stars will be automatically redeemed for the earliest possible rewards, but unused Omni tokens will be deducted at the end of the season.

“As with any season, tasks and awards from packages such as the Golden Touch Quest Pack will be carried over to the next season.

While it’s not clear exactly when next season will begin, the recent leak has given fans a pretty good idea of what to expect.

The Battle Pass would feature Darth Vader’s leather, and Indiana Jones could appear as an outfit.

Needless to say, Express Online will update this evolving story with new information.

After the event, the T-game will be offline for server maintenance as Epic prepares to introduce the new season and Battle Pass.
