Global Assistive Technology Report (GReAT)

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) invite you to join the presentation of the virtual first Global Assistive Technology Report (GReAT). Monday, 2022 May 16, 15:00 to 16:00 CEST (Geneva).

The The GREAT report was prepared in response to World Health Assembly Resolution WHA71.8 on Improving Access to Assistive Technology, adopted in 2018. May. The global impact of the World Health Organization and UNICEF assistive technology report will be unprecedented. The Global Report recognizes that assistive technologies and an enabling environment are a prerequisite for people in need to understand their human rights, and shares evidence-based best practices and 10 key workable recommendations for improving access to assistive technologies for all and everywhere.

Program

The launch will be announced Nujeen Mustafa, author, defender of refugee and disability rights. Mr. Mustafa will present honored guests who will share his collective wisdom on the importance of assistive technology for everyone and everywhere.
