The world’s largest manufacturer of processors and electronic devices, the American company Intel, has decided to suspend its operations in Russia, writes TASS.

Despite the suspension, Intel will continue to support 1,200 employees from Russia. At the beginning of March, the company cut off supplies to Russia and Belarus.
“We immediately stopped all business operations in Russia. This follows our previous decision to suspend all deliveries to customers in Russia and Belarus.
In Russia, Intel has three R&D centers (R&D) in Moscow, Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod.
Recall that Intel’s net profit fell 5% to $ 19.9 billion at the end of last year. Revenue rose 1% to $ 79 billion.
Earlier, Auchan and Danone denied rumors of a suspension in Russia.
In addition, about 50% of retailers that have stopped working in Russia are in the fashion segment.
