There could be a clash between heavyweight rivals Joseph Parker and Joe Joyce, BOXXER promoter Ben Shalom revealed.
Parker recently signed a new promotional deal with BOXXER and Shalom offered to take part in Joyce’s Sky Sports match.
“We made a big offer. It’s a fight [Parker] he wants, “Shalom said Sky Sports News. “He still wants big matches. We made a big offer for Joe Joyce.”
Joyce is promoted by Frank Warren and boxes with Christian Hammer on July 2. Shalom is trying to get Parker to fight this year.
“I know they won’t want Joe to get on the Sky platform, but it’s a big fight for me. So why not raise your profile, play a big game at the Sky Sports Box Office and keep coming back,” Shalom said.
“It’s great about Joseph that he wants to fight everyone and I’m expecting him in a big fight in September, October.”
Retaliation with Dillian Whyte is another important match that Parker focuses on.
The next match of the New Zealander will have world-class consequences. Parker is a former champion and is nearing another attempt at the title of world champion.
“He has very, very good ratings in WBO and WBC. It’s a matter of time,” Shalom added.
“He’s 30 years old. Now he’s much younger than most heavy weights and he’s not underwent heavy punishments. He’s getting better and better.” [trainer] Andy Lee. Now it’s coming to the top. That is his goal. He wants another shot for the title of world champion.
“He’s one of the youngest world champions we’ve seen, and he wants to do it again.”
