Kane, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, just won a second term as mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Kane, a Republican, received 29,218 votes against Democrat Debbie Helsley, who received 23,330 votes.
For the first time in his life, he won his first mandate in politics on August 31, 2018, where he managed to assert himself and charm the citizens with his program. A few years later, the citizens believed in him again.
Kane said after his victory that it was a continuation of the first four years. He will continue to work on education and workforce development in the face of a changing global economy to keep his county competitive.
We mustn’t forget that Kane was retired from WWE to start this new career. This second stint will confirm that he will continue to stay away from WWE, except for a few appearances when the company does a show in his county.
THANK YOU Knox County for electing me to a second term as your Mayor.
I am very grateful for the support you have shown me and my family during my re-election campaign, and I will continue to do my best to serve you to the best of my ability. pic.twitter.com/UevMafyDKD
