Moscow clinics are closing points for free PCR testing for COVID-19

In Moscow, as the epidemiological situation improves and the demand for this service decreases, outpatient clinics for free PCR testing of coronavirus are being closed, the Moscow Health Department said. At the same time, free testing for people with Covid-19 is maintained and will be performed in full.

“As there was no need for such a wide range of PCR tests and the demand for such a service decreased among Muscovites, it was decided to close these points. This allowed outpatient clinics to increase scheduled care and PCR staff to return to admitting patients, ”Kommersant told the Department of Health, noting that PCR testing is available for a fee to Muscle patients without symptoms of SARS. .

The mask regime and social distance have been abolished in Moscow since March 15. The mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin, explained the decision with “a steady improvement in the epidemiological situation”.

Currently, according to Rospotrebnadzor, the average incidence of coronavirus is exceeded in 46 regions of Russia. The head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko said that an increase in the incidence in the country is possible in late May – early June.
