Parakanuist Prachi Yadav won bronze at the Parakan World Cup in Poland

Parakanuist Prachi Yadav made history by becoming the first Indian to win a bronze medal in the women’s VL2 200m race at the Parakan World Cup in Poznan, Poland.

Prachi won bronze with a time of 1: 04.71 seconds for silver Brianna Hennessy of Canada (1: 01.58s) and gold medalist Susan Seipel of Australia (1: 01.54s).

It is India’s best performance at the event, which started on May 26 and will end on Sunday.

In addition, Manish Kaurav (KL3 men 200 m) and Manjeet Singh (VL2 men 200 m) qualified for the finals of their events for the first time in the history of the tournament.

Jaideep advanced to the men’s 200m VL3 semifinals, but was unable to advance.
