US News & World Report named Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa the best hospital in Oklahoma in its 2022-2023 Best Hospitals list.

Now in its 33rd year, the annual chart is designed to help patients and their doctors make decisions about where to receive care for challenging medical conditions or routine elective procedures.

This is the sixth year that Saint Francis Hospital has been recognized by US News & World Report.

In addition to the Best Hospital ranking, the hospital was also rated as a high performing care and treatment organization in the following clinical areas: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); colon cancer surgery; diabetes; heart attack; heart failure, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, stroke and maternity (awarded in early 2022).

In addition, Saint Francis South Hospital was recognized for high performance care in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart failure, hip fracture, kidney failure and maternity care (awarded in early 2022).

For the 2022-2023 ranking, US News & World Report evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals in 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions.

The procedures and conditions methodology in the publication is based entirely on objective quality measures such as survival rates, patient experience and how well each hospital is helping patients return home.
