Science & Knowledge: All the news and podcasts to listen to

Science and knowledge are shared between mathematically provable knowledge and the humanities. They combine a variety of knowledge and research into universal or specific phenomena characterized by an object and method based on verifiable observations and rigorous reasoning.

They cover a wide range of disciplines, each of which deals with a specific field of scientific knowledge: mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, mechanics, optics, pharmacy, astronomy, history, archaeology, economics, sociology, etc. These fields of science still contain several branches.

Knowledge is related to hard sciences and humanities. In this sense, knowledge is created by documenting, accumulating and updating in scientific research. Scientific research in France is carried out by institutions such as universities and public research organizations such as CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), Inra (National Institute for Agronomic Research) or Inserm (National Institute for Health and Medical Research). Private research in France is concentrated in companies. These companies can receive public funding, in particular through the research tax credit (CIR), which is offered as a support measure for research and development (R&D) activities.
