Playing a character completely different from the ones he’s known for in Downton Abbey and Paddington, Hugh Bonneville stars in I Came By as a cocky High Court judge named Sir Hector Blake. Opposite him is George MacKay, who plays a Banksy-esque graffiti artist who specializes in sneaking into the homes of Britain’s richest aristocrats and illegally decorating them. But when he finds himself at Sir Hector’s house in London, he discovers a dark secret that threatens his life. Directed and co-written by Bafta winner Babak Anvari, this Netflix crime thriller promises “classic Hitchcockian tension through contemporary themes of privilege and establishment corruption.”
Released on August 19. In UK and Irish cinemas and August 31st. Netflix International
