In 2020, Vietnam occupied 64a place from 73 countries in the ranking. The top 10 countries in the 2021 world rankings are the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, France, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Sweden and the Netherlands.
Evaluation results News from the USA are based on a global survey of criteria such as a well-developed public education system and the ability to provide the highest quality education.
Last month, seven Vietnamese universities were also included in the Impact Rankings 2022, published by Times Higher Education (THE).
In 2020, only two Vietnamese educational institutions were added to the list, and that number doubled last year. These include the National University of Hanoi of Vietnam (VNU – Hanoi), Tôn Duc Thang University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (USTH) in the 601-800 group, while Phenikaa University is part of 801-1000. The three new institutions on this year’s list are Duy Tan University and National University of Economics (601-800) and FPT University (801-1.000).
